Technical Assistance

Step by step diagram of how MACS technical assistance services work

MACS offers free individualized technical assistance (TA) to healthcare providers and their practices across Maryland. We have a team of expert addiction consultants who are ready to support organizations as they grow their office-based services for substance use disorders.

When you contact MACS and request technical assistance, our designated Program Specialist will reach out to you directly to discuss your practice needs in more detail.

During this preliminary call, our team will start the process of developing an action plan that is tailored to your practice or program. Our Operations Manager will work closely with you to ensure the successful delivery of TA services through best practices, tools, and protocols.

Based on your goals and priorities, we will set up follow-up phone, video or in-person consultations. Depending on your needs and the status of your program, these can occur once or we can foster an ongoing support system. In addition to these consultations, we have educational resources available to support your growing practice.
